Working with more than One operating System at a Time-Windows Virtual PC


Windows Virtual PC software is one through which we have to use more than one operating system at a time. Windows virtual PC is a virtualization programmed for Microsoft windows. In July 2006 Microsoft Company released the Windows hosted version as a free of cost. In August 2006 Microsoft Company has announced the Macintosh hosted version would not be ported to Intel based Macintosh computers. But after some time Production of Power PC based Macintosh computer are stop.
The newest release “Windows Virtual PC” which is not working on the Windows version earlier than Windows 7, and officially does not run MS-DOS or operating systems earlier than Windows XP SP3 Professional.
The older version of Windows Virtual PC, which supports wide range of host computer and guest operating system. Virtual PC virtualizes a standard PC and its associated hardware. Supported operating system can run inside virtual PC. Other operating system such as Linux may run, but officially it is not supported. And also Microsoft does not provide the necessary drivers for Linux.
